WELCOME TO THE BSCD
The British Society of Computerised Dentistry (BSCD) assimilates, organises and spreads all information required for improving the applications of new Technologies. It further ensure that its Members are informed of all the latest developments and that a training pathway is developed. Of the newest technologies using computerised technologies is the explosion in CAD-CAM dentistry. Both laboratory based and chair side CAD-CAM systems utilising Ceramic materials are on the increase.
The British Society of Computerised Dentistry main mission is to be facilitators. We will act in the interest of our members and the profession, to be both a conduit and a resource centre.
- For our Members we will facilitate their need for knowledge, education and training.
- For Educators we hope to provide many training resources
- For the Academia we can assist with their research.
- For the Students we hope to encourage, within the remits of an Academic module, undergraduate awareness of the CAD/CAM solutions in Dental care.
- For the Developers we can offer suitable direction.
